    Morning Q sters,
    You can tell the fall is trying to make an appearance. The mornings & evenings are cooler, some of the leaves on the trees are turning. Notice this big time the last couple of weeks. Of course the CNE has opened & Labour Day weekend is about 10 days away. Oh no, say it isn't so. Please don't leave summer, I need more of those hazy, hot & humid days.

    China's 'Black Monday' Sends Markets Reeling Across the World

    Instability in the markets is expected to continue today. Chinese stocks tumbled again this morning following their biggest decline in eight years to start off the work week.

    However, some analysts are finding the silver lining– the BBC’s Steph McGovern says world economies have gotten used to getting Chinese goods “on the cheap.”

    The TSX dropped 421 points yesterday and European markets saw some steep losses as well.

    Extracurriculars A Go In Ontario Public High Schools

    Ontario’s public high school teachers have been given the go-ahead to run extracurricular activities this fall, after their union reached a tentative deal with the province and school boards.

    The local presidents of the OSSTF endorsed the deal and the union announced it would suspend the planned job action for September, even though teachers won’t be voting until after Labour Day.

    IndyCar Driver Wilson Dies From Head Injury

    IndyCar driver Justin Wilson died Monday night from a head injury suffered when a piece of debris struck him at Pocono Raceway.

    He was 37. Wilson, a British driver who lived outside Denver, was hit in the head during Sunday's race by piece of debris that had broken off another car. He had been in a coma since Sunday.
