Good morning to everyone!

I had a great weekend, as we went over to my wife's sisters place as her hubby was celebrating his 50th birthday as well as their son was celebrating his 16th. I was sad that we could not bring our boys to the occasion, as I mentioned on Friday, it was my son's 23rd birthday, as they both were telling me that they had assignments due this week and too much work. So DW and I understood but went to the occasion with out them of course. We were having a great time there when out of no where our boys show up to surprise us. This was planned by DW's sister to even surprise us! What a wonderful time it truly was and our eyes and jaws said everything to our boys! They flew in and then took the TTC to Scarborough!
It was so special as well to spend Sunday with them until I dropped them off at the airport for the 11:15pm flight back to Ottawa.

Man just writing this brings back the emotions! Sometimes it is so hard to let go!

I believe the getaway driver is also wanted for the theft of a Van Gogh!

A man is in custody after falling out of a van as police arrived at a break-and-enter at a popular west-end restaurant.
Officers were responding to an alarm at California Sandwiches on The Queensway near The East Mall around 1 a.m. on Monday.
When officers arrived, a white van fled the scene. Toronto police say the man, who is in his 40s, fell out of the van and was arrested.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. There is no word yet on charges.
The driver of the van didn’t stick around to check on his friend and after a brief pursuit, the police chase was called off. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Highway 427.

Justin Trudeau on 60 Minutes

Canada’s PM is making headlines state side after appearing on 60 minutes. The CBS program did a profile on Justin Trudeau which touched on everything from his childhood to his current government policies. To no surprise, comparisons to his father were also thrown in. The piece generated controversy last week over Trudeau’s comments that Canadians wished Americans paid more attention to the world around them. However, the American reaction to the interview was overwhelmingly positive, with many tweeting their desire to move to Canada (again).
