Sat, Mar 12th, 2016, 09:10 PM #143059Feeling unknown and you're all alone, flesh and bones by the telephone,
lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer!
Take second best, put me to the test, things on your chest, you need to confess!
I will deliver, you know I'm a forgiver!

Here are some of the songs I hope Q starts to play in their new music cycle, though these would now be concidered Classic Alternative Rock!

lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer!

This one is one of my fav videos as well. Love bands that can poke fun of themselves! Wish more bands would could do that instead of being so serious!

I remember seeing Rough Trade at the Alymer's Fair in the early 80s and Pope and the band actually had farm country enjoying her stuff, whether they knew her sexual preference or not!

lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer!

This is one of my all time favourite songs and truly a rock anthem for New Order fans! Some of you who have never heard of them, they derived from Joy Division and I know I am repeating something RL mentioned last week, as he is a tremendous afficionado! After Ian Curtis committed suicide, Bernard Sumner wanted to go a different direction from the dark side that was Joy Division. I do believe they did a tremendous job!
