Sorry all have been away for a couple of days at a conference. Hope everyone is good! Glad to have made it onto page 10000!

The weather has changed for the good of our lawns and gardens! I hope it lasts for a few days but clears just before the weekend!

I hope both our men and women pick up some steam before the week ends! I would love to see at least 20 medals! GO CANADA GO!

Glad to see the 10K mark.
I am having a fight between SC and FaceBook, once I log into FB, SC stops working.
Once I log out of Facebook and clear my browser history, SC decides to be friendly.

As usual stellar support from SC, NOT!
I posted the issue in their issues forum and three days later no response.

Given the big pain in the @ss it is to even view the forum now, it is unlikely I will be around much.

Unfortunately, Canada lost to Germany 2-0, but unlike the Brazil-Sweden game, it was a game. Canada did have chances but couldn't capitalize on them. They even pulled their goalie & had all 12 girls in Germany's end to try & score the last couple of minutes of the game. They will play for Bronze against Brazil.
The Brazil-Sweden game was terrible. Sweden did the same thing to the US, played 11 players back in a defensive game to win on penalty kicks. People were booing in the stands. Near the end of the game, Sweden did try a couple of times to get into Brazil's end, but Brazil lost in the end in penalty kicks.
Fri at noon, Canada & Brail play for bronze & at 4:30, Germany & Sweden play for the gold. Canada & Brazil should be a good game, but it remains to be seen if Sweden will try the same defensive game playing to see if they can win on penalty kicks.
