Ok, it seems to be official. Looks like the nice fall weather has left us & Old Man Winter is settling in. There is some white stuff mixed in with the grass this morning, the wind is blowing really good, but it is sunny. Bundle up & stay warm.

My daughter announced I am to expect a grand daughter.

Ok, here's the summary; she has 2 stents, and 2 balloons, which had to stay in, and they've reattached the artery. She has fluid around her heart, and it's infected. So along with i.v. antibiotics, she's on 6 other medications.
Her arteries were not blocked, no plaque, but what happened is that an artery actually separated from the left side of her heart, and she was bleeding internally. (I've never even heard of this)
Once the infection is under control, and she's recuperated sufficiently, they have to go back in. So, at least one more operation.
At the moment, her prognosis has improved to 25% survival.

I'll tell you, she damn well better, or else.
I buried my DH on Dec. 7th, and I refuse to bury my DS in Dec.

Yes Hicks, it is freezing out there. Just came back from a walk. Was bundled in my snow pants, ski jacket, mitts & boots. Felt warm inside, but face was cold.

Glad your sister has improved some. Thoughts & prayers are continuing for a full recovery.
