Disgraced Sen. Don Meredith Resigns After Sex Scandal

Disgraced Senator Don Meredith has stepped down from his position. The 52-year-old minister from Toronto declared yesterday he would resign his Senate seat ahead of what could have been a historic vote to kick him out of the upper chamber as early as Wednesday. Meredith said the upper chamber is more important than his moral failings -- over an admitted sexual relationship with a teen girl.

Donald Trump Fires FBI Director James Comey

U-S President Donald Trump has fired the FBI Director amid an investigation into his possible ties to Russia during the presidential election. The president cited Comey's handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation as the reason behind his decision. Meanwhile, Trump is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin's top diplomat at the White House today.

Yan Gomes hit a three-run homer and Carlos Carrasco threw seven shutout innings as the Cleveland Indians blanked the Toronto Blue Jays 6-0 on Tuesday night. They forget to show up yesterday. Too busy eating seed around the bird feeder out back.

We miss you, so don't be such a stranger.

Miss you guys too but we are in the final stages of prepping our old house for sale. Do any of you remember when we first bought it? Chers helped me with advice on how to sand and stain my floors, and you all cheered me on. We are listing on Saturday. Bittersweet but we are ready to go. Not even sure where yet but with my youngest starting university in the fall we are not locked into this school area anymore (whoohoo!) We have been interested in a few properties but the market is so hot they sold before we could even find time to see them. We are going to sell so we can just come in with firm offers.
