Good morning fellow Canucks!
We only had 40 kids come to our house last night. This means I am going to get even fatter by eating whats left over.
Speaking of fat guy, last Thursday my son and I performed at an open mike. Here is our version of Sympathy For The Devil:
Hope you like it.
(Yes I am the fat guy on the left)

I don't think Q is going down. As a matter of fact, I really like it the way it is.
The thing is, that they are doing what they did in the past by heavily repeating certain songs on a daily basis.
In the past they would overplay "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac. Now, they play Gypsy excessively.
There is that U2 / Robbie Robertson song that I hadn't heard in years. All of a sudden I am hearing it every day.
In other words, some songs are being overplayed. There is over 50 years of music for them to play, and it would be nice to have a balance of hits and slightly deeper cuts where we can all say, "Hey I love that song. I haven't heard that tune in a long time".
Other than that, I do like the DJs on Q. I do miss Kim Mitchell. I do like the current format, which is just an extension of the Classic Rock format, with some Duran Duran and Flock of Seagulls thrown in. But I am totally fine with that.

Nothing new under the sun?
Guess again.
A giant planet has been found orbiting an ultracool dwarf star —
the largest planet compared to its star ever found — leaving scientists baffled at how the duo could have formed.
The planet NGTS-1b is situated 600 light-years from our solar system, according to a statement from the University of Warwick, and it is a gas giant about the size of Jupiter. Its star, on the other hand, is just half the mass and radius of the sun. The planet orbits its star at 3 percent the distance from the Earth to the sun, and it whips around a full orbit every 2.6 Earth days.
Artist's impression of the gas giant planet NGTS-1b and its neighboring star, an ultracool red dwarf.

Anybody remember J.R.
103 MPH fastball.
Yep.
6'8", scary fast, and a little wild too.
Yikes!
A STROKE AT THE AGE OF 30 ENDED HIS CAREER.

me goosebumps to think of what he might have become"
