I can't believe Q got rid of John Scholes & Al Joynes for this doorknob Fred. Even Willy is gone too at 6pm. We get Fred till 7pm. He's also the dude that does the Korry's Clotherier with Shawn Korman. I find him very annoying in those commercials. Didn't like his commercials before I know who he was. Not sure what Q is trying to accomplish by doing this. Guess time will tell.

i didn't like him on 102.1 either. he was touted as an 'award winning broadcaster'. it turns out he won the 2009 'steve young broadcaster of the year'........ but i still don't like him.

Heat warning continues for GTA

It will be another hot and muggy day for Toronto residents. We have a heat warning still in effect for the city as Global News Meteorologist Ross Hall tells us we're once again going to see humid-ex values well into the upper 30's by the afternoon. The good news is that by tomorrow the heat will break with a high of 22 degrees.

Canada ready to discuss dairy market to secure NAFTA deal

Just as Canada is set return to the NAFTA negotiating table today, reports out this morning suggest Ottawa may be willing to discuss the country's protected dairy market. The Globe and Mail is reporting the move is believed to be part of the effort to save an important NAFTA dispute-settlement system. US President Donald Trump and some of his top lieutenants have turned up the heat on Canada to open up the protected sector but Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has yet to budge on the issue. Trump blasted the Canadian dairy industry during his announcement of a trade agreement with Mexico this week - a deal that he hinted could replace NAFTA.

Jays likely to put Donaldson on waivers

The Baltimore Orioles rolled over the Toronto Blue Jays 12-5 on Tuesday night. The Jays will try and avoid the sweep tonight and snap their three game slide in the process. Meantime, there are reports suggesting Toronto will put veteran third baseman Josh Donaldson on waivers later today and then trade him as early as Friday. The Blue Jays are currently 12-games under 500 and more than 30 games back of AL East leading Boston.
