F1 Sprint makes it debut too (in T-10!). Looking forward to two It's light's out and away we go this weekend!
For those who don't follow F1, the traditional Saturday qualifying elimination process typically sets the grid positions (start order) for Sunday's race. But, in the "if it ain't broke, muck with it anyway" category, F1 is trying something new. Traditional qualifying was run a day early to set the grid for today's qualifying sprint race. And it's the results in this qualifying 17-lap, 100km race that will determine who will get pole for Sunday's race.
What could possibly go wrong with two "first laps" in one weekend?Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.

Most F1 fans can only make one weekend a year due to the cost.
F1 is trying to fit more as much excitement , and revenue, as possible into each weekend.
I like it. Race to the grid.

NGK'S Ruthenium spark plugs, named after Bader Ginsburg I think!
What you have copper core plugs.
You're four generations behind.
I don't associate with people who aren't at least platinum.
The melting point of iridium( 4435F) is higher than ruthenium (4233f). Why use ruthenium, if iridium has a higher melting point? Iridium is $1400 and oz and ruthenium is $250 and oz. I'm sure the profit margin is much better if they can sell the ruthenium plugs at the iridium prices. If the plugs are easy to get to and you don't mind changing them, sure use non- precious plugs every 30k. But if you have a difficult to change vehicle i'd use iridium, I don't get the advantage of ruthenium other than its a higher profit margin for the company

I read each word of your post, but all my brain heard was Charlie Brown's teacher.
But, there was a time, oh so very long ago, that I would have admired the grid, likely for hours on end, under a black light!!
Is there anything more quintessentially 70's than the black light poster??Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.
