Question

I'm new at this and don't know if I'm posting in the right area. My qestion is about buy on get one free coupons, if your using one can you use a differn't coupon on the one you are paying for. For example I have a buy one get one free fantastic coupon and also have a $2 off fantastic coupon, I wasn't sure if you can use them both.

This is considered "stacking" and can only be done at London Drugs or Save-On-Foods (West).


Lately I have found that many stores are being VERY cautious with wording, so if the coupon says "not to be combined with any other coupons, or offers" it may be a no-go. I find it helpful to ask at Customer Service before shopping, if the coupons will be accepted, to avoid checkout hiccups.

Depends on where you go and what cashier you have.

At our Walmart, they do not consider this stacking. The policy is 'one coupon per item'. BOGO coupons go towards the free item, not the first item. The first item can then be 'paid for' with a different coupon as if it were cash. Two coupons for two items- totally legit, as long as neither coupon prohibits it (can't be combined, etc).

It would be stacking if you used multiple coupons for the same item.

Really, this is something I've seen debated many times- usually best to check with CS if you have any doubts.

I do that at RCSS, I did it yesterday for some mustard.

DH did this at our IGA with the $1 off taco kit and free salsa WUB a taco kit.
