My first recycle walk = success!

I was out for a walk with DS this afternoon and couldn't resist peaking in the recycle bins! I came away with the following:

1xFPC for bananas
2X$2 off Quantum Finish
2X Free t-shirt pins (from Kellogs cereals)
1 Cheese magazine with the coupons attached (I think 5 assorted cheese coupons)

These were just what was lying on top. Maybe next time I'll work up the courage to dig in a bit

I was thinking about dressing up in black and going for a walk around 12 am tonight, but probably one of the seniors on our block would call the police though!! They have our block pretty safe LOL I'm so tempted!!

I think I might have a small addiction...I think my hubby is worried about me :D

I dont feel so bad because there is a lady in our neighbourhood that comes by on recycling day to look for beer cans and liquor bottles. everyone knows her, and some people even save their bottles for her. we just say hello as we pass eachother on our recycle walk

My DH is worried about me already and I haven't found the courage yet to go digging through the blue bags every two weeks. He sees me looking longingly out the car window as we pass them though.

Well finally someone sharing a good and positive story about recycle bin looking!!

It's got a really bad rap... it's really not hat bad. Yes, there are some people that would get ticked off... but I bet that 95% of THOSE ticked off people.. if they knew it was JUST for coupons and not personal info and what have you... they'd be cool with it as well.
