Hey everyone,
Since everyone who posts on SC had a big part in getting me started - I am going to show you the beginnings of my binder.
I will reserve the next few message areas and will update my binder as I go
- I think it will be fun to see a newbs way into couponing :P.
So here we go!
First, I went out and bought some baseball card holders.
At WM, I thought the prices of zip-up binders were a bit expensive and thought that I could do better at Dollarama - WRONG!!! Dollarama doesn't carry "real" zip-up binders. Luckily, when I did my second trip - my wife swore we had one sitting around at home unused. She was right!!! which saved us approx 15$.
So, during this first outing I tried to take notice of any coupons - not much at the ol' WM. But, I also needed to groceries. Now, usually I go to YIGs but I figured I should check out Food Basics first. I bought some stuff at a great price and also found some coupons. Then, I made my way to YIGs. There a grab almost 4 coupons off of each tearpad. To be honest, I didn't know they where for Loblaw's companies only :S

So now, I have a feel for tearing off coupons on tearpads and awkwardness of doing it is fading. But, unfortunately, I have been stuck at home with a sprained ankle :( Guess what!? that didn't stop me at all. I did my homework - yeah, I read through this puppy of a website and its a doozy. It is packed with so much helpful information that I feel an attachment to it already. Anyway, I went to all the websites and signed up - just recently brandsaver - and also ordered in some mail coupons as well as downloaded some others. I'll have to post the coupons I get from them websites when they arrive.
Today though, I had the opportunity to head out on my first organized coupon hunt. I went out actually just looking for coupons :P

well done.. i 'upgraded' to those hockey sheets this year. i can't for some reason do the divider thing..i tried it got really confusing. not sure y
