I shop exclusively local - in Port Alberni.
I'm hoping fellow West Coasters will see this post, as NANAIMO is as close to local as this forum gets for us.

I would love to share tearpad locations & unadvertised sales & clearances with other locals!

Quite often SDM forgets to remove their expired sale tags...I have been able to get the item at the "sale" price because of their "error". So next time, you should try to get them to give it to you at the lower price.

I was in at Port Alberni Shoppers drugmart yesterday they have a reduced shelf that had 2 packs of Dove deoderant for 4.99... on their regular shelves they had tuna for .69 a can limit 4 per order and large eggs 2.29 limit 2 per order.
There were some other good deals around I saw to but the tuna and eggs were what I purchased. the deoderant was just an observation on the way out

SDM eggs often are priced well at @2.29. Good find! In Jan/Feb they were on sale for $1.99... Unfortunately the 4L milk hasnt been on sale at $3.99 either. I don't purchses tune, so I couldnt say if that was SDM best price or not. I hope you got the 79cent bread at Fairway Market? You should let me know when you are heading to Port and I can give you a list of current deals!!!
