Will stores accept a ripped coupon?!

Yesterday at RCSS, we purchased yogurt, with a coupon for $1 off. My dd this morning went to get a yogurt, and ripped the box, right where the coupon is? :bawling:

Can I tape it up? She felt so bad, especially since she spotted the coupon on the package. :yikes:

I can so relate to this! I also have an enthusiastic 'helper'. :lol:

I would tape the back of the coupon, explain what happened and politely ask if you could still use it. I suspect this will depend at LOT on the cashier that you get.
