When you're at a store and you see the brand rep restocking things, have you ever approached them looking for coupons?
wondering if that would work or if they would get annoyed.
I used to flirt up my ruffles rep when I worked retail and score free chips! :lol:
I've asked before and gotten some from Coke.....and a package of Breton crackers at Walmart....
so what do you do, just approach and ask, or do you talk up the product?
I always want to ask the bread guys!
I have never actually asked, but was buying some lays chips one day and a very nice young lad gave me 3 FPC coupies, I was on cloud 9 cause these are my DH's favorite
I have also gotten free Westjet buddy passes (that is what they call the fly anywhere we go at anytime on standbut for free passes) from a friend of a friend who knew I was flying back and forth from Calgary to Toronto when my dad was really sick.
funny.. i saw a lady yesterday at NF.. she had a yellow basket.. i watched her for a few seconds.. and thought Y is she putting things back on the shelf. then realized they were coupon attachments.. it was like.. wow.. this is cool.. then chickened out..
I think I would feel bad asking for the coupon and then not buying the product right away. (Unless it was FPC)...
I've always wanted to but haven't had the guts. maybe some day...
