B1G1 with B1G1 Coupon

Wondering how does this work. when something is on sale for B1G1 and you have a coupon for B1G1 what do you pay and what do you get for free??

I would think that you would pick them up in groups of three/ABC. You purchase A get B free via coupon and get C free via store promo.

B1G1 from coupon = 2 Products
B1G1 from store = 2 products

or is it that you buy ONLY 1 and used both promotion and coupon on that one product to get the 2 free? i

i would say it's buy 1 get two products free.. simply because often the on deals like that the till automatically makes the price of the second item scanned as 0.00

for example i bought one box of vector cereal on a BOGO free, i used my FPC on one box and when the second was scanned the till charged it as 0.00, since the till does that i'd assume i'd use the coupon on the next one you'd pay for

I haven't tried this before, but I heard that that you can get 2 for free and you don't even have to pay anything. The store pays for 1 while the manufacturer pays for one.

Have done this many times & have seen many posts that other SCers do too. The odd time you'll get a cashier that won't allow it. Same with using 2 $$ off cpns on B1G1 - in my exp. mostly it's allowed . IMO, why not as the store is just choosing to promote their sale as a B1G1 instead of 50% off the single item (in which case you'd have no problem using 1 cpn per item) so they can move more product.

I know when Safeway had B1G1 Windex and I had the B1G1 coupon, they gave 2 to me for free! Nice little cashier even added the tax into the coupon, so on my receipt it said I saved 103%!

Always have been able to get one free from instore promotion and one free from coupon (both items free)

I have also been allowed to use $ off coupon on both items and use the instore promotion of B1G1.

But again it depends....make firends with your regular cashiers.....I like to give them bonus coupons if I have handy.

I have gotten them both for free before, and then I have also had some times when the cashier wouldnt allow it, or be confused and call manager and they wouldnt allow it, I guess it just depends on who you get at the till.

Okay does anyone know where there might be a WINDEX B1G1 deal on right now? I have 8 coupons I need to use up.
