My name is Tanya, a SAHM of three. I 've couponed before, especially when the kids were younger but as things got busy and our family income increased it was kind of pushed on the back burner.
Fast forward to the present, just bought our first home, the kids are older and their needs seem to have multiplied as quickly as the bills have. I would really like to be able to stay at home, as I also help take care of my mom, so I need to start changing our budget to be able to do so with some degree of comfort. Hopefully reducing our grocery bill will help out.
I look forward to couponing this time around with SC and its great community, so far this month I've saved 50% on my purchases, although I didn't really save too much money yet, I did get a lot more for my money and now have a nice stockpile to move forward with.
So now you know a bit more about me and have also learned I'm a little long winded (you should hear my kids complain when I'm in lecture mode, I think they behave sometimes just from the fear of having to listen one of my speeches :-) ), I look forward to getting to know this great community and working together to save money.
