Not for nothing -- and certainly not meaning to ruffle any feathers...

But I've been a member of many many forums for various purposes over the years. And if there's one common thread, it's that there's always someone who does something wrong, gets called out, then has family members, friends or sockpuppets posting responses with all the reasons why things are going badly. Not really believable when actively posting in other forums at the same time.

Also, as someone with a nursing background (and I'm not saying I don't believe the medical issues angle, but...) appendicitis is not a weeks-long event. It happens suddenly, and with a lot of pain, and it's dealt with immediately. If an appendix ruptured or was inflammed for weeks, the prognosis is not good. Then again, in probably 60+ surgical patients (plus two friends and one family member) who had their appendix out I never saw anyone with symptoms that appeared more than 48 hours before surgery.

I think people have a right to be upset and to question what's going on. And the timing (post neg feedback) of this post is questionable.

If things got out of hand and the OP was suddenly buried with work, overwhelmed and got slowed down, I think that it's usually most welcome to come clean, apologize and make ammends with an actual timeline. As opposed to listing the reasons (real or not) for the issues, list the steps you're taking to improve the situation.

JMHO - no direct knowledge of the situation and not affected by it. But it does affect how new people (like me) will be treated here if others try to pull a fast one. And it affects the morale of the place in general. In a couple of days I've already started 7 trades (or more, I forget at the moment) and have had TWO of those people express their hesitation because they've been burned before. Every person on these trains is going to hesitate in the future because they've been burned.

I have to agree with this statement! I jumped on one of missesta VWT trains and never got anything out of it. It was my first train and I was hopeful at receiving coupons from my wishlist. I am very discouraged by this experience and will probably avoid trains and trades now. I need coupons to save money and feed my family. I can't afford to risk losing coupons and money by trading or joining a train with a dishonest person that will just keep my coupons for themselves.

this is missestas boyfriend - she was hospitalized last night and asked me to come post on here to get everyone to message if you have a trade with her or you were on one of her trains - she wants to do right by everyone that she's upset.
she has to get her appendix out tomorrow so she put me in charge. if anyone could please help me out and message - that would be great. shes been having problems for a few weeks now and we ended up at hospital by ambulance last night - no worries, i might take a few days longer but everything will go through. please message if you read this - it would help.

becuz of everything that has gone on she asked me to post and say she is offering to make amends with everyone she has upset by sending either an insert from the papers friday or a $50 bundle...she just asked everyone message me to figure it out

missesta told me she was going thru a difficult time trying to settle her step-mother's estate...granted that was a day or two before her illness.
I think it would really help everyone if you, the boyfriend, could get the info from missesta about who she sent envies out to and what envies she had received. She told me she received mine but it isn't recorded anywhere other than in a pm.

Personally I would rather have a $50 bundle as opposed to an insert as long as the coupons weren't all ones that no one wants (like baby, hair dye, swiffer, etc).

I'd like an update too so we all know where we stand.

I would appreciate the coupons the riders from 3 trains sent intended for me!! As well as the $50 in additional coupons ( not the crap ones no one else wants) baby coupons with later expiry dates would be fine!!!

I'm really upset that this all has taken place!! I know there was a lot of messages between missesta and I of things that we agreed she would send me with No success!!!!
