So I bought a ginormous bottle of Shower Power Max Nair thinking "what a great idea!" Tried it out in the shower this morning and... no dice. Like, it didn't work at all and I left it on for the max. amount of time I am not impressed. Has anyone had good results? I put plenty on so I don't know what the problem is

Yeah, I've used that stuff a few times over the years and nadda. It gave me a really bad reaction and got rid of some hair but not enough that I would continue buying it

I only use Nair and it works fine. It depends on how thick the hair is that you're trying to use it on though, if it's really coarse (leg hair is usually thicker than say, upper lip for example) so it may not work as well.

I bought it once and the smell was so horrendous that I had to get it off me before waiting the full amount of time.

It works great for me but not at all for my daughters. I think it depends on your hair. I'm blonde with very fair, very little leg hair. My daughters got their fathers french genes and have a lot of very dark hair. They go through a ton of razors!

I've never found it worked. The last time I used it was as an early teenager, so about 15 or so years ago.

The one I got doesn't smell too bad. It's meant for thick/coarse hair so I had rather high hopes for it! Oh well, back to the Venus!

I used it back in the day when I was afraid to cut myself shaving. It stunk and left my skin slick feeling, and some hair wouldn't come off.
I prefer to just shave.

the only way it worked for me is if I used something slightly abrasive to rub it off. I've decided shaving is much less time consuming and less irritating.LOL

+ if the lotion does miss something and you go to shave the missed patch of hair off, it BURNS like nobody's business.
