Shoppers Will Be Stacking

well after the policy comes out and its incorrect I will give you the names of the 2 supervisors that told me ....I really don't think they would lie to me cause i am a loyal customer there and they know me quite well....Also they said it while other NON coupon customers as far as we can tell were standing there...announcing it somewhat loud and honest. They said, yes stacking was coming as long as it was different UPC codes, they also said that they will lose money cause of the 20 cents it cost them to redeem the coupon, I TRUST MY SOURCES! sorry for my poor typing skills enjoyed the hockey game...

PS ............WHY WOULD I MAKE THIS UP?

I agree, I will beleive it when I see it, or do it. I have enough trouble useing 1 coupons at SDM, I can't imagine them ever allowing stacking, but it sure would be nice.

They don't lose money when they redeem coupons, they make money ....the 20 cents you were talking about , for accepting the coupons.
I am not sure your sourse is well versed yet on coupons.
But, I sure do hope stacking will come to SDM, I sure wouldn't mind getting bonus points for stacking on items.

as i said why would i make this up? Trust me I dont need all of you peeps reaming me out! That's the last thing I want...2000+ mommies on my butt, bad enough i have my own..lol...nite
P.S. i wanted to challenger her on the 20 cents. I thought they made money but yet I couldn't say nothing cause I'm not a store and never submitted a coupon.

i don't think your making this up.. it might be that certain location is allowing it (with them all being independently owned as someone else as suggested) i just think they have a LONG way to go before they allow stacking.. i know many SCers (myself included) have had a heck of a hard time on a regular basis using coupons at SDM..if all that comes of this being that SDM makes it easier to coupon many of us would be very happy!

They're releasing the new policy monday to the public I think, so I hope nobody runs in there trying to stack like crazy this weekend.

But LOL @ they don't like it. Get over it guys, it's your job!

I love my local Shoppers Drug Mart and all the people that work there...They really are the best, but since I found out about london drugs coupon policy, I haven't spent a dime in SDM. I have saved over $500.00 in one week at London Drug cause of their coupon policy. I have posted my receipts on my page and my friends are shocked...I REALLYYYYYYY hoped SDM would do the same. YOU should consider the idea or allow health and beauty products to be stacked...PLEASE SHOPPERS DRUG MART COUPON GODS MAKE THIS HAPPEN..... Steps off the soap box...Thanks

I've shopped at a few different SDM's and I've never had a problem using coupons. I find that it isn't the store that causes problems, it's individual cashiers who are either in a bad mood, new and don't want to screw up or just don't want to do the extra work! 95% of my experiences have been good at most stores, I think it's when someone wants to use 100 of the same coupons that you can get some problems, but who really needs 100 of anything ;)

At the very least the SDM facebook page is FINALLY going to post their official coupon policy on Monday! So stacking, or not, i'm just happy SDM will have a universal coupon poilicy, for ALL STORES to follow :-)

Yeah, that would be nice, since the two shoppers near me have started doing completely different things...and change their minds depending on the average weekly rainfall, daily maximum temperature, timing of approaching cold fronts, current names of developing hurricanes, alignment of the planets, and what house the moon is in.

I quit trying b/c it very rarely works out for me....I'll pick up a few random things here and there...the universal policy might actually get my business back.
