my kindness: I have friend who's hubby just came home from Afgh. so i took some of her coupons and i am on the look out for something she hasn't been able to find in stock. she wants to spend every minute possible with him and i am a stay at home mom so i have more time. well i finally found what she wanted in stock but i couldn't find her coupons!! grr luckly they had just slipped from my foolishly open binder in my van so i'm going today to go get ten for her!! she'll be so happy to finally get them!!

It seems we are all so busy with the warm weather finally arriving. I really hope everyone slows done and takes time to help others. Some of the posts here are so sweet and so generous. Thank you to every one of you SC's.

I keep trying to RAOK but I never can! First of all, I don't have a binder yet, all of my coupons are in order in a bag... LOL, so I don't carry it into the store.. I get all my coupons and I get my free stuff and I give any excess to family, friends, coworkers etc. (I ask my coworkers to pay my OOP, so GST). Twice lately I was in a store and saw people buying products that I have coupons for and I said "Oh, are you thinking of buying that, I have coupons if you don't mind waiting while I run to my car", they just look at me like I am a freak and say no LOL.

So, I see the deals, I get the stuff, and whatever I can't use, I give to the Mustard Seed (Calgary homeless shelter).

My ROAK is something I hope others would like to do. I am a frequent patient at the cross cancer institute in Edmonton, every 6 weeks I require a CT scan and many people there require them even more frequently. Now if you have ever had one you know that it is nessecary to drink contrast mixed into 2ltrs of water, it is awful the only thing that makes it more "pleasant" is adding juice crystals. But I found out awhile ago that juice crystals are not in there budget and unless they have received a donation they can't offer them. Since then everytime I go I bring a can of ice tea, today they were out when I arrived and the nurse took it and announced that they had some now should anyone like to add it. There was a line up. So if you live near a Cancer centre and find you have a little extra juice crystal, they will be more than appreciated, they will even take them with the coupon taken off, neastea wink wink lol

Good Morning All, I hope everyone has a great day. My grandson is going home today as mom and dad are back from their delayed honeymoom. Hopefully I will do a mystery envie in the next few days, as things will be getting back to normal. I was at WM today and was over looking at the OFF spray and saw a women saying how much Off is now and how she needed it as they were leaving for camping in a few mins....I went into my coupons and gave her a 5.00 off coupon and then said will you get going by a LD on your way camping and she said yes so I gave her coupons for more OFF, toilet paper, napkins and baby wipes to use for camping....she wanted to give me money for it but I refused....it felt so good to see the smile on her face.....I later saw in the parking lot talking with her family in the van and all she keep saying was start the car lets go and find LD ....when I heard her say to her husband "start the car now".....I started to laugh and was thinking of so many of us on here and our saying when we hear about a good deal...start the car here I come and coupons in hand:lolsign:

It was a good day and loved the smile and excitement on her face, hope they have a GREAT camping trip

I gave a lady in line at zellers some diaper coupons today. Definitely won't be using them all before they expire

I love reading all the great stories on this thread, it always makes me smile. For now I'm focusing my RAOKs on making donations to the Canadian Cancer Society as we lost a wonderful SC friend to cancer last week :(

I do plan to be a coupon fairy this weekend if I can manage it :)

It makes me feel good to read all the wonderful things that all of you are doing. I was at the Dr again today and waiting in the pharmacy for yet another prescription. There was a young lady there browsing through the makeup, I was able to give her a couple coupons for some mascara and she was very thankful. Made me smile as my day hasn't been great. Good Morning all, I hope everyone has a wonderful day, just catching up on the last of the things left undone while bbsitting a grandson for a week. Am going to shoot for a mystery envie today or tomorrow. (probably tomorrow as I want to do a train tonight) Have a great day all and do a RAOK today and remember it doesn't have to be a huge thing, even helping someone with their heavy bags is so simple and so greatly appreciated, especially by seniors.
