I think this is so neat. BUMP!!!! I love when I end up with more coupons then what I want and leave the rest I am not going to use on top of the product in the store. The next person must be so excited. I know I would be. Who doesn't love going to the mail box and getting an ENVIE. Mail time is possibly the best time of the day.. that and nap time ha ha!

Bump. This is a great new addition to the world of SC after the recent troubling issues that have been popping up. I hope this helps to re-create the sense of community around here. :)

I couldn't agree more being on here feels like family to me and people who I can share my coupon shopping with and people like enjoy reading about it, not like family and friends who don't understand the whole coupon thing, lol.
I have learn so much from on SC just from reading and reading and reading people great finds, deals etc. I am still learning believe me. It's just amazing how so many of you can figure out so many deals/stacking and I think to my self why didn't I think of that, lol

Not much but this morning I was out and about and parked near a homeless guy who was sorting and loading a huge pile of bottles/cans. I made a friendly comment of how it looked like he hit the jackpot and he was excited and start telling me how he came into all the bottles. He was appologetic in how he looked and talked about how he needed to get cleaned up and shave etc. I still had bags of shaving cream in the back of my SUV so I asked him if he needed any. Opened the back up and pulled out two cans and offered them to him. He was surprised and thankful and said that he had a razor and now he could use it and get a good shave.

Other ways to pay it forward that I love is when I've found a great deal (ie. BBQ sauce at Walmart for free) and I have extra coupons is to pass a bottle and coupon to someone that is watching or showing interest and letting them know they are getting a free item. It's fun to see the surprise on their faces. It's fun to "share the wealth"... other times if I have alot of items and I've got a bunch of things that are free I will pass one back to the person waiting patiently behind me and appologize for the long wait.

How about showing someone the ropes and helping them to get started and on the road to savings. I have a friend who I have been sharing some of the great deals lately with and next week we are heading out and I am going to give her an intro into couponing and how to get started. It"s going to be alot of fun.
