Is this a good deal for a giftcard?

I looked on Kijiji for giftcards to try to get some good deals on them, and I can get a 50$ Chapters gift card for $35 saving me $15 is this a good deal? Also please let me know what the best deals are for gift cards so I know that I wont be getting ripped off.

I would say anything below the card value is a savings.... If you can get it for 10% less then I think it's a great deal!
$35 for a $50 is awesome, that's $15 free for you.

I would stick with buying a gift card at face value at a store because it's safer.You can get Petro points buying gift cards at Petro Canada,Airmiles buying gift cards at Safeway or Esso Extra points buying gift cards at Esso.

good deal but i would meet the person at the store to verify the balance, also look on the back to make sure the barcode on the back isn't scratched off (there is a little spot to scratch off with a few digits under it for security when using it online) if it's been scratched swap the balance to a new card while in store (i've heard of horror stories where they check the balance and go to use it a week later and it's been wiped clean)

Hey, thanks guys. Yes I am meeting the person who is giving me the gift card at a Chapters store so they can verify the balance before I pay for it. I also got another 35$ for 25$ , so in total I am getting 85$ for 60$ saving me 25$!!!!!
