How much Canadian Tire money is issued per dollar value (i.e. for a $50 purchase, how much $CT)? I currently buy my gas at the Sobeys gas bars for the 3.5cent/litre coupon, but the CT gas bar is just next to it. Might be worth the switch.
Not sure, but it's not worth it without the bonus points coupons which they have in stores (at the cash and near where the flyers are).Quote:

At my CT gas bar, regular is $0.05 under 20L. But this week, got $0.50 for under 20L. In my area, they are the best price for gas and usually start a price war, so I keep going to them.Quote:

Believe it or not, one of the reasons we "switched" is that there is a CT gas bar a little bit farther up the road, but we use to use the pioneer around the corner. Problem is, when you buy say 40$ of gas, Bonus Bucks = around 10 cents, with the 7x or 10x (like we used the other day) we got 1.05 in CT money, so the "gas rewards" are better at CT even if it is a bit further up the road.Quote:

The 7x-10X coupons are usually at CT cash, they are only valid for 1 week or so usually so you have to come in pick one up and go gas up, usually I've been picking up my milk at CT since it's 1$ cheaper then around me, so I grab a coupon when I know I will gas up and use it then.Quote:

I "redeemed" my $106.50 worth of CT money at CT Customer service desk into a Gift Card no problem
Once it's a GC, you can use it anywhere.. CT store or gas bar
Been doing this for a while too, nothing new :)
We only gas up at CT, my hubs collects over $100 per year using the bonus coupons.
The bonus points (10X) coupon can also be found on the back page of the CT Flyer
