Is there a way to tell if they've been read?

Also, does a user's last activity mean the last time they posted or the last time they logged in?

You can request a confirmation that they've read it.

Thanks! I always wanted to know how to request a confirmation that they've read it!

A few more questions:

Is the reader aware you requested it?
Can they decline the confirmation?
