Thread: I got free toothpaste at Walmart

Ok so my dh doesn't understand my excitement, thought I would share here.
I had some coupons for $1 off Colgate and Crest toothpaste. I went in but was in a super hurry so only found the one I normally get, it was like $2.34 or something and I had a $1 off. But then I went back to get something I had forgotten and ran across some other boxes(I had been looking for .98 box but couldn't find it) I found instead on for .84 and then another for under $1 too. So I got them, yeah I didn't really need 3 boxes but 2 were free, in fact they put the full $1 in so I got more off the 3rd box
And my kids waste so much I need these.
And hubby will not get it. I had some more coupons for sweet baby ray's BBQ sauce. I had never even heard of this stuff. BUT, I saw it in the Zehrs flyer for 1.99. I had a save $2 coupon and a BOGO so I got 3 bottles of BBQ sauce for 1.99. I swear when I saw this in the flyer I was giddy with excitement
I love couponing. If only there were more for foods.
But again at Zehrs they had some clearance tp. Don't know why, but it was so I made dh ask the price and it was 3.99 and 4.99 and I was digging through coupons cause I knew I had a .50 one. lol We are set on tp for awhile

Lucky you! The coupons I have are for larger sized tubes so I wasn't able to use them for this week's sale at Walmart.

My coupon was declined for the 98c tubes as the coupon is for 125ml or bigger and the tubes on special are 80ml... I hadn't checked the small print in my excited toothpaste acquirement!
Oh well...

Way to go!! I must admit, I have more than a few tubes of toothpaste stocked away ... should there ever be a world shortage, I could supply at least our Province for the first few critical days
