    When the old Safeway Port O call building got demolished they had a big closing sale before.Guess Sobeys wants to recoup money from buying Safeway by not having a closing sale.

    when my local safeways closed down (then transitioned into SOF) over the course of a few weeks they clearanced a bunch of stuff at stupidly reduced prices just to get rid of it.. basically all the stock that safeway sold and SOF didn't sell or stock that was not moving quickly... they sold bags of diapers for like $2 and cans of formula for a buck!
