Next to the Millennium Centre downtown a convenience store restaurant has closed and has a new name Nexxus convenience store and restaurant.I don't remember the previous name but remember is was called AAA and Domrick's dollar store.

Elephant & Castle, Pub & restaurant opening by new co-op in clearview/timberlands . Looks really nice, all lights on but doesn't appear to be opened yet. We need more upscale places in Red Deer, hope the food is good !

Sign said yesterday open in two days.I went once years ago in Edmonton the food was good.The downtown location in City Centre Mall I went to closed years ago and also closed is West Edmonton location on Bourbon St.

Labels is reopening in Parkland Mall by Showcase June 1 and Dream Kids is reopening on June 1 and former Ben Moss jewellery store has sign in front of it opening soon doesn't mention store name.Things Engraved has a blow out sale guess they are closing down.Sizzling Wok in the food court is closed.That kiosk that had I think nose rings and other stuff believe it was called Culture Craze is gone near the Shoe Warehouse.

Parkland Mall Claire's is closed and sign says they are giving away shelves and hangers for free.

In Sputhpointe Common at the end of the block with Best Buy in Global Gift Warehouse is the combined three stores that used to be in Parkland Mall Fantasy Gifts,Man Cave Gifts and Gold Eagle Gifts.

Global Gift Warehouse closed.Is located at former Sirens Location in Parkland Mall.

Swiss Chalet is closed.This is the second time Swiss Chalet closed in Red Deer.The first location was where the ABC Country restaurant is now.

The Body Shop Parkland Mall last day of closing sale is today April 22.

Bower Mall Chachi's and Creme delicious is open in food court.Beside Shoppers Drug Mart businesses are gone I think Claire's and some engraving place.

Olympia Liquor says open soon used to be Big Fat Greek restaurant before that another Greek restaurant before that Dino's restaurant originally the first Boston Pizza in Red Deer at 47 St and Gaetz Avenue.

Sweet Cravings Cafe on Ross St downtown in the former Enmax office is closed.

There is another restaurant open there now.

Some of building is getting painted Giant Tiger yellow but I don't think they are taking over the whole The Brick building because it still says for lease and the second storey at the back of the building looks unchanged.
