I get a sore back and use generic Robaxacet - I found out the hard way that they do not sell this in the States. Make sure you take the ORIGINAL bottles of medicine with you so that if you need a new prescription that you can go to a pharmacy that can communicate with your pharmacy back home to refill it.

We just got back from a driving trip to Florida and back. The radio selections as you go south get a bit repetitive a lot of "Country" and "Christian" music - so if you're not into these types of music - your own music maker is a good idea. Music IN Florida is quite varied - especially in big city areas.

It was VERY hot when we were there on the May 24 weekend - 95-99 and fairly humid - so cool clothing for when you get there.

Try to keep track of weather forcasts as they've been getting some CRAZY bad weather along the way down to Florida - storms - tornadoes - I haven't kept track for the last week, though. We dodged tornadoes and vicious storms- damaging winds- on our way back.

when i do long drives i make george carlin cd's and other comedians... nothing like enjoying your drive! Whenever possible i travel on a tuesday because there is less traffic... i will be driving the motorhome... at least we will have the potty while we are on the road.... might want to pack some hand sanitizer... in case the roadside bathrooms are quite icky.

Not sure it this was mentioned since I only skimmed thourh...but we always keep a big pump bottle of hand sanitizer in the car...I also refill the small one in my handbag with it.
