Ok you know it's become obsessive when.......

Ok so my AMAZING sister has taught me the way of the coupon and I have been doing it for about a month or so now and it is awesome!! I have gotten so much free stuff and almost free stuff. My kids love it too because they get stuff I would have never bought them before because it was too expensive.

I realized today when my son offered to go bring in the newspaper that it was getting a bit obsessive lol. I was so worried he would drop the paper, lose my flyers or damage my flyers lol. I bit my tongue and let him "help" and he did just fine. I am also realizing my kids are getting obsessive too, as we walk through the store they are constantly looking for coupons just like me and they get so excited when they find them, again just like me. So I figure...yes obsessive...BUT we have embraced this wonderful obsession as a family so...It's all good!!! lol

Anyone else want to share when they realized when couponing went from a great way to save to a full blown, wonderful obsession! lol

I have a funny sister story with coupons too. I think I always annoyed my sis a little with my coupons and freebies story. But guess what? She has a boyfriend now who is as nuts about deals and coupons. I find this SO hilarious! Out of all the type of guys.

Your not the only one. lol. I take my baby and 2.5 year old every week. Last week my 6 yr old DD had a P.A. day. So she came too. She dove right in there with me. My 2.5 yr old tries to help every time too!

My 10 year old son has always been good at saving his money, sometimes going without candy or whatever so that he can save his money for something better...My 13 year old daughter however spends the money as soon as it hits her hand...lol. While my daughter is off doing some craft or playing, my son is sitting with me going through the flyers looking for good deals that match up with the coupons I have. It's gotten to the point that it annoys HIM to have to 'share' the flyers with me, so he insists on getting his own flyer pack which I'm not supposed to touch because I "might make them not be neat anymore"

My 3 year old asks to help me cut out the coupons. I get a little panicked....so I usually give him the ones that I'll never use and don't have anyone to pass them onto.
I think it became an obsession for me, when we all went out to buy some flowers, and my hubby wanted to go over to the groceries, and I wouldn't, because I didn't have my coupons on me.

Since i started this..coupons always in my mind...realizing the saving it could give you plus we send out stuff for our family abroad.....my children are participating too.."FULL PRICE IS THE "F" WORD IN OUR HOME".....if they want something i tell them to wait then when it is on sale or better yet if i have coupons for that then we can get it, though dh is a bit annoyed evertime i ask him to go to grocery coz we go then too often..nevertheless the bottom line is we save money and as a wife my role is "TO PROTECT AND PROVIDE" lol
