Will Superstore price match No Frills even though they are the same company? This might be a silly question but I wasn't sure. I have a Loblaws gift card so if I cannot get the raspberries that are on sale at No Frills I want to go to Superstore and get them there if possible.

The one on 137 Ave & 128 st. said No to me. She said No Frills prices are too low and they can't beat it. Good luck!

No the one in Clareview said they're not competition. (even though most times no frills is cheaper) They're the same company owned by loblaws so they won't price match any of those chains.

I got the same reaction as the previous two posts...the cashier said same company, so they don't "beat their own prices"...good luck :o)

Superstore is not as cheap as people think. Honestly, I saw (and bought) some items at SOBEYS to boot which were cheaper than at Superstore. eg Melba Toast. I guess the overall total at Superstore or Walmart would be less, but then the size of the store and the time it takes at the checkouts is less at Sobeys....

I ended up just going to No Frills and they had lots of raspberries left so it's all good
I agree Superstore isn't always that cheap! And when it is sometimes it totally isn't worth the lines and crowds of people. I actually think it used to be a lot cheaper in comparison to other stores, seems like they are doing a lot more marketing and trying to brand themselves as the hip place to shop lately.

Superstore CANNOT PM with No Frills as their set up is different and is run differently than the other Loblaws companies... its up to the store manager if their willing to PM for a specific product. HOWEVER No Frills WILL PM Superstore...
NF has less overhead costs than SS does which is why they keep their prices lower as their privately owned under the loblaws name they are run different...
Most places that advertize a PM policy will state they cannot PM with NF
Hope this helps
