The Maple Leaf chicken tenders in parm flavor are on sale for $8.99 but ringing in at $9.99 this morning. I was going to use my $5 off coupon but I SCOP'd instead.

All major chains around here practice SCOP. And yes it means I got it free. She offered to reduce the price to the sale price but I said "No thanks, I'll take it for free please." lol

For sure! Free is always better if you're entitled to it. I'm going to go back and get another box with my $5 coupon tomorrow.

So I've gotten 6 boxes of free chicken in the past 3 days trying to use my $5 off coupon. At this point I'm considering it a social experiment on how long it will take them to change the price to the correct one......

I checked my receipt from Bayers Lake SS and they charged me the right price.

On a side note, we had this for dinner lastnight. Talk about disappointment when I opened the box. These normally sell for 11.99 @ my Sobeys and only a crazy person would buy this product at that price. Eight teeny little pieces of seasoned chicken and 2 packets of meh-flavoured sauce.
