WM not taking CZ coupons in my area

I was at WM last week and used CZ coupons with not problem went back a few days ago and they refused to take them because there is NO address on the back for them to mail them to to get their money, which makes sense so why did they take them before??????

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem......or did I just have a bad day at WM and a supervisor who didn't want to take them.

My Walmarts have never accepted CZ coupons because they can't get their money back from them - they are in-store only, not true coupons. They do however accept the MFG coupons

Yes, this. I have heard about others using them but, Walmart is not suppose to accept them. It does confuse me how their coupon policy says that they will accept competitors coupons though.

Their policy outlines when they accept competitors cpns. They would accept them if the coupon stated the exact price and item that is being sold ... instead of ringing it through as a cpn, they do it as a PM on their register.

always seek out a Manger/CSM before you do these coupons less stress at the register...Walmart employees are becoming more a of a pain lately anyone notice this? Ha Ha, I'm sure they say that about us couponers.

WM only accept competitor coupons that say get xyz for $2.99 with this coupon, they do not accept $1 off coupons from competitors. They basically use them as a pricematch rather than a coupon

I wonder if it has anything to do with RCSS new policy to accept only one coupon ..either a CZ coupon OR a manufacturer coupon but not BOTH as they have in the past. In the past my Walmart did both because RCSS was doing both and their guarantee was that they were going to 'beat everyone's price' right???

Last time I used them I got a manager first prior to shopping and he said OH YES we take them and always have then when I went back they said no. The coupon was for the Lady Speed Stick which said 2.00 of Lady speed stick

Yes, Ang735 it confused me too one day you can the next day you can't.

But wait ... most of the coupon zone coupons CAN"T be used at WM if you are a rule stickler because most are for an amount off not a stated price for the item like the policy states .... for instance:

Mr Clean cpn from coupon zone says .50 off (can't use it)

but if it said

Mr Clean - cpn states sale price $.99 (YES, woo hoo ... go get it cause they will then use it as price match and ring it in accordingly cause they aren't looking to get money back from Loblaw's, they are matching a sale item.)

I was able to use the Lady Speed Stick CZ at WM (St.Vital Winnipeg) They used it as a price match instead of a coupon. I was not able to use the PM for the pharmasave flyer and the CZ at the same time.

I had diff cashiers giving me diff answers at my location, so I emailed Walmart HO about this and they've phoned me personally (twice!) to ensure that it IS accepted. He also mentioned that it is taken as a PM and not as a coupon, so I just simply give it to them and they are supposed to override the origin. price. He also asked me for the branch I visited along with manager's name, so he can contact them and forward the information to them.

But I know that I am not going to even bother trying at my walmart cuz they've been very anal with everything. Like using printed coupons and PM'ing to safeway brochure etc. - which the HO guy also mentioned that they will PM as long as it's local and flyer is brought in. It doesnt' matter if it's club price or not because it does not require you to pay anything to be a member. ie. you can't PM costco price because you have to pay membership to get that price but for save on or safeway, you just simply sign up...)
