I was at the Northside Wal Mart this morning - they have TONNES of Chocolate Cheerios and the Brown Sugar Fibre 1 Cereals.. They are on the display as soon as you walk into the store, and again lots in the cereal aisle~!

As of 10:00 a.m. today, they also had some at Superstore Southside, got 3 boxes for free (they weren't taxed either, not sure if other stores are charging for the tax, given I don't know if cereal is considered a basic grocery item or if it's supposed to be considered prepared food, either way, no tax on said products at Superstore).

I just picked up the last box on the shelf at the Sobeys on Regent Street. No tax was charged..it was just free. Not sure if they will be putting out more stock later or not? The cashier asked me where all these 'free' coupons were coming from..she had seen a lot today. I told her the internet, and there was also an article in the paper last week, that will probably entice even more people to start using coupons.

I was just in SS Superstore and didn't see any, but I wasn't really looking for them. I wanted the Fibre1 cereal instead and there were a bunch of those left. I got a box and a free cup of skinny cow (facebook/internet printable)

Wow, really? I don't have time to drive all over town looking on lunch, so maybe I won't be getting any today!

Sobeys on Regent has TONS but none in the cereal aisle, theyre on display at the end of the aisle in the back. Tried to get 4 boxes today and was REFUSED, saying they didnt take FPC from online places like save.ca, asked the cashier to check with a manager who "confirmed" it which is a lie if some of you have gotten them there today. I politely told her thanks from the food bank as the 4 boxes I planned on getting were going directly into the donation bin 2 ft away from me.

I went to North Side SS, they had none, but SDM had about 5 boxes left. Got my box with no problems.

I can't believe Sobeys did not accept your FPC?!! I've never heard that one before. I was there at lunch, went through the 1st aisle, and never had a problem. I got 1.
I think I'll have to go looking for their coupon policy!
