RCSS good news and good deals!

Stopped by my local RCSS today to get some shave gels that are on sale and I noticed that the fathers day Dove, Axe and Old Spice gift sets are on clearance, $5.44 less my $1 off coupie so i picked up 2 for DH. They include a deodorant, full-size after shave and body wash.
Anyhoo, so i stopped by customer service and spoke to who I assume was a manager ( she was in plain clothes) about weather or not i could use a coupon with the clearance gift sets, because I had recently been told by 2 different cashiers that they no longer accept coupons on pink sticker items. She said that's not true! That I can, I just can't stack! That made my day, I just wish all the cashiers were on the same page. I'm fully prepared to be denied again the next time I try to use a coupon on a pink sticker item, so we'll see what happens!

awesome! i had my gillette coupons buy 3 save $5 and there was a huge bin at RCSS and it said 3 for $6.99 all gillette shaving products womens and mens! so i got 3 shaving creams for 66 cents each... the problem at the checkout was they were 3 for $6.99 but were scanning as 2 for $4 with the other one being $3.13 or something. the manager came over and tried to override and couldnt, it locked the machine. She tried overriding my chocolate bar for 14 cents less than actual price to make up for it. she was having such a hard time. i mean it was 14 cents so i said lets just ring them through again and here's my coupon for $5 off. it worked! she said that never happened before. IF only it were for such a higher purchase. i hope to be able to do that one day!!! lock it up!!! LOL...
