THE PRIZE
5. There will be a total of 26 prize(s) awarded consisting of one (1) Grand Prize and twenty-five (25) Secondary prizes:

5.1 The Grand Prize consists of round trip economy air transportation for two (2) to the Canadian literary festival destination, (airport, carrier and airline ticket class selected at the sole discretion of Scotiabank), standard accommodation (double occupancy) for two (2) at the Canadian literary festival destination (accommodation to be selected at sole discretion of Scotiabank), and entrance to a Canadian literary festival of the winner’s choice (ticket selection to be determined by Scotiabank). The Grand Prize winner will also receive one (1) Secondary Prize as outlined in section 5.2. Approximate retail value of the Grand prize is five thousand one hundred and fifty dollars ($5,150 CDN).

5.2 The Secondary Prize consists of a collection of all five shortlisted Giller books signed by the respective authors (the “book collection”). Approximate retail value of the Secondary prize is one hundred and fifty dollars ($150 CDN).
