Quick question: Have any of you attempted to use coupons at any Dollarama's in the area yet? We have a Dollarama in Heartland and was just wondering if they started allowing the use of coupons.

Asked at Clarkson and the one on Dundas (by the Sobeys) and both said NO. Hopefully that will change, I've been reading that a store-wide policy is to come around in about 2 weeks for all Dollarama stores. Could be a rumor, but it sure would be nice!

Went to WM (Heartland) last night to pick up some things and use my coup's and ran into a NASTY CASHIER with an ATTITUDE!!.
PM $2 Oasis with NF used $1 coupon=$1ea x 5 = $5
PM $2 Grille-Ems sausages with NF used $1 coupon = $1 ea x 3= $3
Cashier asked me "do you want everything for free".
I said "Sure are you going to give these to me for free?"
the response was "I guess you people us to work for free too"....
I don't want to create trouble for this person, but I am thinking of calling Head Office

I ended up going to Food Basics near my work at lunch (in North York), I got 16 bags of Primo pasta, 20 cans of sauce and 10 bags of Quaker Crisps (they were on sale for $0.99 and we eat them like crazy) and paid a total of $44.11 [Used my 2 Primo coupons for $1 off]. I have enough pasta and sauce now to feed an army :D.

what with the mail strike and the no mail
we should organize a coupon swap!/Meetup!
Toronto group does one every month so maybe us in Mississauga/brampton/oakville/milton/burlington should do one?
Anyone up for that?

well tbh ive never actually been to one lol
but from what ive read, you go and meet up with fellow couponers in your area and swap coupons you dont want or need.
or people attending could even post their wishlists and if someone else has something from that list they can swap for other coupons at the meet.
Usually groups meet up in public places like malls or food courts

I think a coupon swap could be fun. I've never actually "swapped" with anyone or done trades yet (I am still quite new) but I would love to participate. The problem would be finding a date and time to do this. With Canada Day coming, I am quite busy for the next week or so lol.
@VeeVee: the thread was just started two days ago Welcome! I hope it keeps growing and growing
