Hi all!
I'm headed to TO in early July, a quick trip for a wedding. I probably won't have a LOT of time for shopping, but if there's someplace downtown that has womens large size shoes (size 11 or 12), I wanna know! Any advice?
Thanks in advance !

If you find out let me know! :)
Tall Girl at Bay & Dundas carries larger sizes of shoes. I have no idea what their prices or selection are like though, sorry.
Harry Young Shoes on Front St. E. (near Church St.) currently has a sale until July 30. Store is only open until 6pm weekdays and to 5:30pm Sat.. Some shoes/footwear in 11 and 12. Shop tends to carry business/dressy/fashion shoes and smart casuals plus shoe care products and handbags.
Tallcrest at the Bay/Dundas Atrium location also goes to those sizes but during a sale, sizing will be hit and miss. Regular retail pricing is $$$, so when something goes on sale, snap up a pair.
Idea-find out which Payless Shoes stores tend to get size 11 shoes. I only found out two months ago that certain stores in Hamilton usually get 11 and 12s (otherwise stores only have maybe a pair or two of chunky heeled 11s or flats and nothing else). Maybe an SCer in Toronto can find out??
Trust me. It's almost impossible to find shoes in Toronto in size 11 or 12. I usually wear an 11W. Unless you get to payless early when they just get their shipment. The nice shoes are gone. I usually have to go to the states to buy shoes :( or wear mens
Town Shoes - Eaton Centre & Yorkdale locations only for extended sizes
If you will have a vehicle and don't mind a bit of a drive, there is a specialist store for size 10-13 shoes for women: http://www.divna.ca/contact_us.php its above the 401 and by appointment or as noted on that page, their shoes are stocked at
Tribal Council at 1839 Davenport Road
If I'm not mistaken you can order payless shoes on-line into the store of your choice. I feel for you ladies... My best friend is size 11-12 and I see how upset she gets when she can't find nice pretty shoes in her size :(
Kittyboom, if you have details how the order to store process goes, do share. I noticed that the US Payless site shows shoes and codes but the Canada site is just for listing the current promo and finding stores.
I found out about the "some stores usually stock size 11" detail by chance as I was trying this year to see if a certain kind of canvas shoe I saw on the US site last year could possibly be here. Sales person mentioned the fact that 2 stores in Hamilton tended to be the "go-to" places for those sizes.
as a last resort, you could try some shoe outlets. i've noticed the stock there usually leans to the extremes. i have definitely seen lots of size 10s; not too sure about 11 or 12s. the styles might be questionable. there's a nine west outlet on 53 orfus rd. there's also shoe warehouse and town shoes outlets near downsview station at 1150 Sheppard Ave W. if you plan to visit yorkdale, you can stop by since their subway stops are close to one another.
Long Tall Sally will have stores in Canada until March 2019. Catalogue shopping is possible as is online shopping.
Currently a shoe order will require $15 shipping but if your order also includes clothing, then you can get $10 shipping.
Miller Shoes in Hamilton ON has a website and three stores-two are full price stores and one is a clearance discount store.
Brown's Shoes carries up to size 11. There may be limited size 12 finds in designer shoe stores clustered along Bloor St or in Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
