Chocolate Cheerios:
I got my free box yesterday and this is my review.
GROSS
These chocolate cheerios leave a bad taste in my mouth..
They taste okay without milk but with milk yuck!
It tasted like watered down count chocula
I would definitely not pay $5.99 for a box of this junk. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

My box of these was $6.49 at SDM (although of course it was free with my FPC).
I didn't try 'em with milk, but just dry. OK at first taste, but left a funny taste afterwards. Wouldn't buy them again.

I was wondering if there is any thing we could make with them?? Like Rice Krispie square with marshmellow or the ritz cracker ones that you use Eagle Brand with?? Might just have to experiment a bit!!!LOL!!

I thought they were ok...they didn't rock my socks or anything...probably wouldn't pay money for them. I didn't notice a bad aftertaste, but I was drinking coffee too.

I mixed a few of them in with regular cheerios for a treat for my babe- he liked them. I didn't notice a after taste but the soy milk may have had something to do with that. Not sure I would buy them again though... but I have 5 boxes to last for a long while

It's okay, tried some last night. Not a cheerio fan anyway...I think the best cereal I've tasted so far is Vector.

I love them! No funny aftertaste with or without milk. I think they taste just like nesquick chocolate cereal, but less sweet. I dont think they are that unhealthy either, look at the box.. 9g of sugar compared to about 26g for corn pops. They are made with whole grains too, which is better than other sugary cereals.

I had a bowl with milk - and was pleasantly surprized that they were so good! Not too sweet, just chocolatey enough. Definitely not in the 'awful sugary cereal' category.
Didn't notice any aftertaste at all.
I think I'll be making some squares with them - with marshmallows like rice krispies.

I liked them (with soy milk). I wouldn't buy them though. But for free they tasted pretty good.
I agree that they aren't very healthy and I wouldn't eat them for breakfast. I consider them a snack food. The sugar content is reasonable, but the nutrients and fibre are low. I also don't like that they are calling corn a whole grain. It's more of a starch.
