The last one was also Monday and Tuesday. It sucks for those of us who have to work, esp. since the Oakbank store closes at like 7!

There's a Pharmasave in Oakbank... about a 20 minute drive East of Winnipeg.
It's double coupon day today and tomorrow only.

I went to Oakbank Pharmasave today for their double coupon days. Had a great time- it was so much fun and so worth the 20 (ish) minute drive! I got so many great things and only had to pay the taxes on most of them. And best of all, the cashiers and other staff were amazing- so friendly, organized and open to couponing! They were even telling other customers to look on Smartcanucks for info on couponing. I will definitely go back for the next double coupon days, which they said will be in September.

Mostly Pharmacy items... Other then chips, pop, bottled water and chocolate bars... If you don't have any pharmacy items to buy I personally don't think it's worth the drive. I headed out earlier today and this is what I got:
3 X Advil night time = Free
1 box of 50 Splenda - 2.00$
2 X Multibionta = Free
1 Stayfree & 1 Carefree pads = Free
1 Extra Strength Tylenol - 0.79
1 Reg Asprin - Free
I Poly to Go - 1.99
1 Tylenol Back Pain - 1.99
1 Fusion shave gel/1 Gillette Shave/1 travel shave/ 1 odor shield deodorant/ 2 travel body wash = 1.94
Most of things on my list I DIDN't buy because some of the prices were outrageous! IE Smallest Regular Crest Paste was 2.99, and I know they go on sale for 1$ at Sobeys, Pampers wipes 9.99, when they are on sale for 5.99 every other week somewhere, Hair Dye for 11.99 when it goes on sale for 6$, 12 rolls of TP for 7.99 when it was on sale last week for 3.99
If you don't know your prices, you could get "Coupon Crazy" and end up spending way more $ then if you wait for an item to go on sale .
I live only 15 min away from Oakbank so for me it's worth it to check out... If I lived in the city and didn't have family members with health problems (that use lots of over the counter meds), I probably would save the gas money. Just my thoughts...Keep Smiling!
Super Mel
