Small brag! Collingwood dollarama takes coupons!

I had to go to Collingwood for work this morning and thought I'd search out a Dollarama when I was there. I went into the store (located in the mall with Zellers) to ask if they took coupons. The cashier was busy with a customer, so I found a clerk working in the isles. Not really having much hope that she would say "yes", I politely asked if they accepted coupons......SHE SAID YES! I SAID NOOOOO WAAAAY! Smiling ear to ear I walked out of the store and back to my truck for my binder! I had a spring in my step, I tell ya !
Now keep in mind that I've only been couponing for a few weeks and don't have a large selection of coupons yet, but I had fun knowing I was going to get some items for free! FREE IS GOOD! So, I got my purchases and went to the cash to check out. I put all my items on the counter and started to pair them with my coupons when the cashier said "we don't take coupons". Then the other cashier piped up and said they do, but neither of them knew what to do so, they had to call the clerk I originally talked to and she told them to treat each coupon as cash at the end of the transaction ok, whatever! JUST TAKE MY COUPONS LOL!
So this is what I got:

4 x $1 Campbells Chunky Soup less $1 wub4 = .75 ea
4 x $1.25 French's Mustard less 2 x $1 wub2 = .75 ea
1 x $2 Bicks Banana Pepper Chunks less .75 coupon = 1.25
2 x $1 Vileda Scrunge less 2 x $1 coupon = FREE
9 X $1 St. Ives Cream less 9 x $1 coupon = FREE
TOTAL WITH TAX $23.43
LESS $14.75 COUPONS
OOP $8.68 (INCL TAX)

YEEHAW! (sorry farmville habits are hard to break) I am so extremely happy and can't wait to find more coupons to use at the dollarama!
I think I did everything properly with my transaction, but if I made a mistake somehow, please let me know! I want to be a responsible couponer!

the mustard coupon expires on Sept 30 2011 - got it from a tear pad but don't remember what store! it's for any french's mustard product 325 ml or larger save $1 wub2!

they were a bit "fussy" about the coupons...were trying to say that it had to look exactly as in the picture...but i pointed out the writing to them that said "any" and then she agreed and let me have the lotion.
good luck! i'm sure as they get more familiar with accepting coupons, things will get easier!
