Chocolate Cheerios let down!

Hey Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone else had troubles finding the FPC cheerios today?

I went to 4 stores, and NO ONE had any. Cereal let down!

I had problems finding both the Cheerios and the shredded wheat till I started moving other boxes of cereal around. It looked like someone was hiding them

I was able to get some this morning, but I was at the store at opening.

Were the stores you went to sold out? Or did they not carry the types?

i had ALOT OF FPC FOR THE CHERRIOS OR FIBRE OINE AND I DIDNT GET TO USE ANY OF THEM!! WHAT A LET DOWN I DROVE ALL AROUND MY TOWN LOOKING AND THEY WERE SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!!

I couldn't get my hands on any also...but there were PLENTY of the Fibre 1 Cereals...I don't like this "1 day only coupon" I hope it doesn't happen again...

Im not sure where you guys are located, but I noticed the Save on Foods in both Ladner and Langley BC had tons, as did the Walmart in Langley.

LD, SOF, WM and SW all have tons in New Westminster.

Same here. Checked my No Frills where they had the chocolate cheerios for sale but they were all out. Drove to the city. Another No Frills had ONE box of the Fiber 1 left WAYYYYYYYY in the back shoved behind some other boxes. LOL
Drove to a couple other stores and then Walmart. Got another Fiber 1 at Walmart. No chocolate Cheerios to be found.
Another person I know didn't get any. Since the coupon does have a second expiry date, any chance the stores will still let it go?

I tried 7 stores--SDM, Safeway and Zellers--and none! I decided after the 7th that the gas wasn't worth the coupon! *sigh*

I got my free box ONLY after being at Walmart at 9am, and asking THREE employees for them. First 2 never heard of them- had to show my coupon to make them really believe me. The 3rd gal was nice enough to go "out back" and said she'd be a few mins. When I went back to cereal aisle, there were about 6 boxes out. Idk if there were more but I took my 2 free boxes and was happy. Sorry to hear it was not a happy ending for all who wanted them. : (

I got my choc cheerios at SDM in Maple Ridge around 2:00, there was lots there. Then around 5:00 I went to SOF in Maple Ridge and got the fibre 1. I noticed SOF had tuns of the cheerios! Maybe we just had more out in BC?

I went to Zehrs and they were out, so I went to Walmart who was also out. Then I decided not to waste gas so I started calling stores and I found one that said they still had some so I went and was able to get some.

you gotta go early for that kind of stuff!

people have been waiting for weeks for get this free cereal and probably had loads of coupons for it. I already knew which locations had the cereals and that I would go early to get them. I considered going to the 24 hr WM at midnight last night just to make sure I got them but then decided to go to the regular WM bright and early. :D

Take about a disappointment! To have a coupon that is one day only when many if not most stores are not carrying the product is ridiculous. I too went to a number of stores trying to find chocolate cheerios. I am going to be writing the company to let them know that the promotion did not do its job. If anything it made a lot of people upset.

Sadly there are no 24hr Walmarts here where I live and as I had to be at work prior to store openings I missed out on this one
