The ad says assorted varieties, and at my location the Orange & Blue Advanced ones both with & without the Aveeno rang up at the same price as the "basic" listerine pictured in the ad did. (the new Listerine Zero & fancier/total ones were $6-8)
Got the cashier to adjust to 2/$8 and used a pair of $3 printable coupons (debated SCOP but not worth it over $1 hehe)Last edited by Fury420; Fri, Jun 24th, 2011 at 09:51 PM.

same here fury420 went to walmart and used 2 $3.00 coupons no problems on basic listerene and got them for $1 each. Wifey went back in and got 2 more "advanced" ones which rang up at $5.79 and cashier adjusted to special price and took 2 more coupons so we got them for $1 each aswell. Not worth SCOPing over $1 especially since the deals went through so easily.

I couldnt fine the 2 for $8 Listerines so I asked a WM lady and she said shes not sure why the price tags were the roll back prices. So she came to the cashier with me and told the cashier to override the price and make it $4 each. Used my $3 coupon and bought 2. Yes, they let me. Got the $1 Listerines. Oh yeah baby!!!!!

Here is a email I recieved about Listerine. I have not tried it as there are not many mosquitoes where I live, but thought I would pass it on.
I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don't leave home without it....Pass it on.

Did this today, and I was so happy she took both coupons that I didn't notice that I was charged $5.79 for each bottle till I got out to the car. Good thing I always read the reciepts before I go home. Customer service was very happy to give me the $4.05 difference back.

Same thing happened to me, caught it during checkout & had her correct to $4 each, but she'd managed to ring it in a 3rd time at $5.79 during the process, leaving me confused doing math in my head while walking outta the store wondering why my total was now off by even more? lol

I`m just wondering how everyone is getting SCOP for the Listerine?
The flyer says it`s 2 for $8 or 5.79 each. So technically it`s not ringing in wrong. And since the coupon is one per customer, then in order to use the coupon you would have to pay 5.79 minus the $3 coupon, making it $1.79 per bottle.
Or is there something I`m missing or a different coupon I don`t know about?- Couponing since May 27, 2011 -

Well...at the risk of upseting the "Moral White Knights", I will say it. Walmart sells sooo much Listerine, and gives us such a hard time when we use coupons, if you get away with this one Walmart still makes the same amount of money as if you didn't. Please don't hate me.

I think you are right. The listerines are a "multibuy" so they ring in as $5.79 each but when you buy 2 (or multiples of 2) the computer takes the difference off and puts it as a credit at the bottom of the reciept.
My reciept reads:
Oral Care $5.79
Linksave 50
Oral Care $5.79
Linksave 50
then at the bottom:
Multibuy Discount
Listerine 2 for $8 $3.58-
I didn't know the coupon read one per customer...I thought it said per purchase. I didn't have trouble using one froe each bottle. I only got 2 and that's all I wanted/need.

yes each bottle should still ring up at $5.79 first but does the "multibuy discount" not show up on the bottom of the reciept? I'm guessing you wouldn't know if the price was adjusted to begin with. I hope for those that got it corrected after that they didnt also recieve the $3.58 credit and just not realize it...cause multiples of those can really start to add up and cause troubles later.

I was just reading up about the one per customer coupons, and apparently if you have two people there you could use two of those coupons in the same transaction as long as both people are present... so if you have a husband or friend shopping with you, they could be the other customer representing the second coupon, allowing you to do the multibuy using two coupons.
But I am still wondering about the SCOP since as far as I know, the item ringing in at $5.79 the first time is correct... unless both items were ringing in at $5.79
I`ve never done SCOP personally so I`m not too familiar with how it all works.- Couponing since May 27, 2011 -
