Wanted to share what I have been doing lately at Walmart with the overages if I didn't have enough products to apply to basket.
By doing this I have all the staff happy when I come in with coupon.
This is what I do.
When I have overages I put it on a Walmart Gift Card. Any overages over $5.00 can be applied to a card. I just keep putting the overages on there and am saving for a big treat for me.
They are happy that I do this and I tell them that since they are so nice and friendly with me and my coupons I appreciate it so much that I will spend the money here in their store again.
They have told me they appreciate it as well.
I see this as a win win and my thought we should all do this if we have extra.
Let's not bite the hands that feed us.
Anyways my 2 cents.

I'm upto $79.00 on a gift card now.
Thanks I really think its a good idea and will help us in the long run as they will get a more positive feeling for us that use coupons especially if they are aware and now we are coming back to spend the money at Walmart.

i think its a good idea, but if someone is really needing that extra money for something that another store carries or gas money or bus fair or whatever... then they shouldnt be judged for doing so!!

Good idea. Maybe for those who dont need the extra money could put it towards the charities supported by walmart? They ask at the till if you wanna donate a $1 towards "blah blah".....why not do that? Just a thought. Thats reeeeally paying forward Great couponing karma!
