Ok so my Family eats alot of cereal but I have a bid of an obsession with purchasing cereal with coupons on them. So even though we eat alot of cereal I still have a ton of boxes. I have mainly special K honey and oats and was wondering if anyone has a recipe for making snacks similar to the rice crispy squares or even maybe some cranola bars or trailmix.

If anyone has a great recipe, Please share.

    I have a a yummy granola recipe!

    BEST GRANOLA (HIPPIE VERSION)

6 cups rolled oats (not quick cooking oats)
    ½ cup wheat germ
    ½ cup honey
    1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
    1 Tbsp vanilla

Mix oats and wheat germ in a large bowl.

Melt honey on low heat in a saucepan. Add oil and vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients and mix (use hands if necessary.)

Pour onto two cookie sheets and bake at 325F for 25-30 min, stirring every 5 min (watch, the honey will burn easily.)

Cool and stir in any or all of the following:

    1 cup raisins
    ½ cup dried apples, chopped
    1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
    ½ cup slivered almonds
    1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
    1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds

Store in sealed containers. Serve with milk or yogurt.
