I just wanted to spread the word that I have started a couponing group in Burnaby (anyone in the lower mainland welcome). We have been meeting once or twice a month to support new couponers, trade coupons, discuss finding the best deals and sometimes even do a couponing shop together. There are a few of us who have taken Mrs. Smith's Extreme Couponing class and quite a few that have not. You can find the group on meetup.com under Burnaby Savvy Shoppers.

Hi, our next meeting is the end of August and it is going to be a Couponing 101 class night. I will be going over the basics of couponing as well as the different policies and stores. Suggestions for finding coupons and couponing resources will be included. The evening is free but I ask that you join the meetup.com group to RSVP so that I can keep track of who is attending and share information on the location. I don't like to post private addresses on the message board. There is no cost to join the meetup group.
If you are looking for Mrs Smiths coupon class you can find her at www.. She does not have a class schedule. You must book your own class (minimum 20 people) or attend a class someone else has booked. Locations vary based on who has booked and the cost for the class is 30.00.

We have only had one meetup, and we are gonna mix up the times/locations to get a wider group of people so stay tuned.
I'll be doing a couponing 101 night August the 31st (wednesday) if anyone is interested in joining in. There is no cost and we will cover the basics of couponing as well as tips and tricks for finding deals (although if you are already on SC you are doing great!). PM me for exact details.
