but no doubt she need one as she is almost confine in her home and her moral is affected

does any one have suggestions or comments

we live in a small town so she could drive her wheel chair to go to the near by grocery stores and pharmacy and it will also be more convenient in the house....on the other hand the quadriporter would probably be more secure in the street but whould it be as usefull in the house....

when whe know the price of those we'd better do the right choice

Gratuit.. its an electric scooter you sit on.
Im thinking the wheelchair. only because as you state she probably wouldn't get as much use out of the scooter at home.
if she has ODSP you can also get her dr. to write a script for one. and take it to your nearest dealer. she won't have to pay for it.. or close to nothing.

My Dad has recently become disabled. He is looking at getting a scooter as it is much easier to transport (folds up to put into the car for example). Seems that with an electric chair he will need a special van with lift and the thing is so darn big and heavy I don't think it will be able to be used easily in the house so he will still need a manual chair also. I am only just learning about all the options so I may be missing something but that is what my parents seem to have decided. The scooter seems more fun and sporty too ;-)
