i've seen some on the market for less than a week some for months.

I was looking at 1 and by the next day it was gone and it was $149,000

I was told that houses in the $100 000 - $200 000 price range have many more buyers interested in looking than in the $200 000 - $300 000. I know that generally, in St-B, starter homes go pretty quick. Larger houses are hard to come by as well.
Couldn't tell you much about other neighbourhoods. Are you listed with an agent? I think that helps to sell houses faster than Comfree (possibly).
