Decided to do something different today…..
I am not sure how much of a brag this is rather decision to do something different. I had many plans this week to try and do the normal use coupons=save money. That changed a bit last night when I started reading some of the comments in KK7’s post regarding the passing of NancyM and was brought to tears. To see such a generous, caring and devoted mom’s life taken is so sad and difficult to imagine. Although I did not know NancyM as well as many of you I appreciate the impact of her loss on her family and friends and on this community. This community is a great group of people to loose a shining example of what SC is all about is difficult for all, especially those of you who were very close to her. I thought my money may be better spent today trying to honour her. So I went this morning and made a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. I know this effort will not ease the pain of the loss her family is feeling; it may help to prevent another family the same pain in the future. To her family - my sincerest condolences. :(
