Looking for suggestions? Had a spot to park, but no longer just wondering if anyone knows a good spot to park!

Are you looking for parking during full-time work hours (i.e., M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or similar)? I know the parking lot next to legion on Queen Street is probably the cheapest - $42.00/month, but it's outdoor (although that would be fine during this time of the year).
I'm not sure if you are looking for monthly or daily parking, so it all depends on what you are looking for...

Looking for working hours, 8:30-5:00. Would probably go with monthly. The lot next to the legion is right on the far end of Queen correct? It would be a long walk for me....I don't want to pay for the more expensive lots though!

Here's a link to the city's parking information website, maybe this will help you out further

Thanks, it looks like all the closer parking is the expensive ones, of coarse! Hoping to find something free somewhere to save that money, but that may not be an option!

Try posting on Kijiji that you are looking for something. Maybe some who lives downtown would be interested in renting a driveway or parking spot for while they are at work during the day.

You can park for free if you are willing to walk some. My husband used to park on Waterloo row I believe on the street (just drive under the walking bridge away from downtown). There are no parking meters there. He liked the ten minute walk to work in the morning! Hope that helps!

My husband has worked downtown for many years now and has yet to pay for parking. He can usually park for free by walking about 10 minutes.
In the summer he bikes to work so this is not an issue.

I've been parking at Sobeys the past few days, lots of people seem to be parking there. Takes me about 7 minutes to walk to work, so not too bad....

if you're looking for parking - good luck! The further "up" the streets you go, the cheaper it is (regent, york, westmoreland, smythe, etc) - the cheapest "downtown" parking you'll find is at the TRA building by the Legion - there is also an outdoor lot behind TD Tower (facing McGinnis Landing) owned by Kileel Developments, I think they were only a few $$ more than the TRA lot last time I checked...
Aot of the more "prime" parking for a monthly pass is waitlisted - it's hard to believe that people actually pay $100+ per month to park!! I live out of town, and work downtown - my husband works on the northside, so because the PM bridge is closed, he drops me off at the foot of the walking bridge, and I walk to work - it's a nice walk!

Yeah, I refuse to pay that much! It's crazy. I used to take the bus, but we recently got a second vehicle so it's more convenient because my husband used to pick me up, now he can go home and get supper ready. I'm going to try Sobeys and hope I don't get a ticket!
